Updated: 10:33 am Samrakshan Data of Perinatal Events comparing baseline data of March 2020 with data up to March 2021. Smarakshan is a national program of IRIA that aims to reduce perinatal mortality in India through a process that optimizes the use of fetal imaging with a focus on pregnancy-induced hypertension and fetal growth restriction. The neonatal and perinatal mortality rates are significantly lower than the national average reported for India. More babies are carried to term with a reduction in the preterm birth rate (significant as India is among the largest contributors to the global preterm birth rates). These data are from participants in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala in India. Post Views: 2,033
